Developer is one of a few active DJ/Producers that emerged from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 1990’s. After ending his residency as a DJ on radio station 88.7FM kspc back in 1995, Developer went to New York City to learn about the record distribution business and assisted in the launch of the first dedicated techno distribution company in Los Angeles ” Entity Music Distribution ” which worked with highly influential labels such as Axis Records, Reload Belgium, Plus 8 Canada as well as a large amount of techno label’s from Detroit, Chicago and Europe.
One of the company’s main focuses was to expose the western USA, Mexico and most of Central and South America with techno music from around the world. Over the last 2 decades Developer has played in various countries as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents through out the mid to late1990’s. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong mixing and programming skills as well as the ability of playing 40 – 60 records per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler.
Over the last 2 decades Developer has played along side many of the elite techno talents from around the globe as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents through out the mid 1990’s to 2008. Music and graphics have changed his life with along with huge support and inspiration from recognized techno artists all over the world. Rene Walther is rising fast in the international techno scene with his driving style. His music pushes the limits of techno with commanding kicks, dark & hypnotic bass lines, grooved sequences, intelligent percussion and driving style with an overall new wave of dance floor techno styles never forgetting the roots. Born in Dominican Republic, with German descendants, His love for creating art and and music began when he was very young. Started DJing in 1998 with vinyl until 2003, then digital took over and started producing tracks since 2009. Look out for his remixes and original tracks on underground techno labels worldwide.
Rene’s work has appeared on the following labels.
For 17 years, DJ Shiva has brought a multitude of techno flavors to dancefloors throughout the US. From Chicago jack to Detroit soul, from the deepest to the darkest techno, her attention deficit disorder requires variety in both music and technique. Her technical skills on the decks are highly respected, but her truest talent lies in her knack for contrast and composition.
No stranger to production, her releases on labels like Gynoid Audio, Chroma, Slap Jaxx, and Sonic Convergence are known for their drive and grit; each of them slices of machine funk with a layer of dirt thrown on top.
She would endeavour for musical stardom, but enjoys doing what she loves best: playing music from the heart and never sacrificing her love for the underground. DJ Shiva lets the music speak for her, so bring on the bass and the dark rooms while you enjoy this veteran DJ laying down the thickest of techno grooves.
Memnok’s music evokes dark spirits and black energies. His name is Jeremy Brown, a native of West Michigan not too far from Detroit, and his music speaks this reality. Despite the renowned bleakness of this area of the world, Memnok masters the ability to channel his creative energy, yielding a product that is sinister and moody while retaining a level of stripped-to-the-bone dark funk rarely heard amongst a myriad of techno, and minimal producers today. He is co-owner of Fourth Kind along with Duky. With support from big names, such as Richie Hawtin, Audio Injection, Cisco Ferreira (The Advent), DJ M-Traxxx, Claude Von Stroke and Andrea & Luca
